This statement must remain consistent with our actual website and business practices.

6. International Information Transfers

The Initiative serves breeders internationally, including those in jurisdictions with strict animal importation regulations.

Providing these services may require transferring information between the United States and other countries, including Australia, France, Portugal, and additional participating destinations.

Where applicable, we will use legally appropriate safeguards for international personal-data transfers and take reasonable steps to protect information shared with overseas service providers.

Information may also be disclosed to authorized government agencies when required for veterinary certification, customs clearance, regulatory compliance, or other lawful purposes.

The privacy laws and protections of receiving countries may differ from those of your country of residence.

7. Information Security

We are committed to taking reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to safeguard personal information.

These measures are intended to protect against unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, disclosure, and loss.

Payments for frozen semen, breeding stock, training, or associated services may be handled through authorized third-party payment processors.

Payment providers may collect and process financial information under their own privacy policies and applicable security practices.

The Initiative may maintain transaction histories, invoice details, payment confirmations, and accounting records as necessary for legitimate business operations, recordkeeping, dispute resolution, and legal compliance.

9. Photographs, Videos, and Breeding Records

Photographs, videos, pedigree information, and related records provided to the Initiative may be used to evaluate dogs, document breeding qualifications, and administer the program.

Materials will not automatically be authorized for public advertising merely because they have been submitted for private breeder review.

We will obtain appropriate permissions before publishing privately submitted materials for promotional purposes, unless publication is already authorized under an applicable agreement.

Ownership and permitted use of photographs, videos, pedigree records, and other submitted materials may be further addressed in separate program agreements.

10. Cookies and Website Analytics

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to maintain secure member sessions, remember preferences, monitor website performance, and improve user experience.

Retention periods may vary according to the type of information involved.

Certain pedigree, registration, breeding, semen-storage, and genetic preservation records may need to be maintained for extended periods because of their historical or reproductive significance.

Where applicable, we process personal information on recognized legal grounds, including contractual necessity, legal obligations, legitimate interests, or consent.

We do not discriminate against individuals for exercising legally protected privacy rights.

The Initiative recognizes that breeding decisions, genetic inventory, kennel relationships, and planned international shipments may involve commercially sensitive information.

We will seek to maintain appropriate confidentiality regarding private reservations, breeding arrangements, purchase agreements, and export transactions.

We may disclose transaction information when necessary to complete authorized services, maintain accurate records, comply with legal requirements, or respond to lawful requests.

If we discover that we have collected such information without appropriate authorization, we will take steps to address it in accordance with applicable law.
